Electric

The energy and buzz that is New York. It really is a place where anything is possible. Where more happens in 10 minutes than over a year in most other places. I love this city - just one day, and you feel like you've been here forever, and yet, there's still the anticipation of so much more that needs to be done! And never enough time to get it all in. This time, there's the football to look forward to, a more leisurely pursuit of the museums, the usual over indulgence at Jean George & Le Bernadin (and whatever else strikes our fancy this time around), the chance that the Nicks will win, semi automatic weaponry, Blues & ballads by Boz Scaggs, humiliation at a comedy club, walking the streets (why does that always sound like I'm turing pro?), Go Go boys, groving to some funky hip hop....I was hoping to be able to take a few days out of state, but I always seem to get bogged down in plethora of possiblities that the city offers. I'm actually contemplating yet another final farewell tour before Mimi & Rahul leave :(. If I didn't have this ambivalence about living here, or maybe if I knew a few people here, would I take up the offer he with his head up MT's ass made? Mmmmm. Something else to deliberate about....
